Ahiram, Son of Benjamin (אֲחִירָם, achiram). A son of Benjamin, listed as the third of five brothers in Num 26:38–39.
In 1 Chronicles 8:1, five sons of Benjamin are mentioned and numbered—but the third name is listed as Aharah. This may be either a corruption of the name Ahiram or a different name for the same person. First Chronicles 7:6–12 lists Benjaminite names, but it is fragmentary and unclear. “Aher” appears in 1 Chr 7:12—this may be either Ahiram or Aharah with the end of the word lost. Genesis 46:21 mentions 10 sons of Benjamin, but some of these are “sons” in the sense of “descendants.” “Ehi” in this list could be a shortened version of Ahiram.
