Lehun (also known as Al-Lahun and Khirbet Lahun). Site in central Jordan associated with the biblical land of Moab, where the Israelites camped after their wilderness journey. Lehun is in modern Jordan’s Madaba district on the northern plateau of the Wadi Mujib, site of the Arnon River (Swinnen, “Iron I Settlement,” 29; Homès-Fredericq and Hennessy, Lehun, 275).
