Baal-Hamon (בַּעַל הָמוֹן, ba'al hamon). A village that was the site of one of Solomon’s vineyards (Song 8:11).
Baal-hamon is mentioned just once in the Bible, and its location is unknown. If the tenants of Solomon’s Baal-hamon vineyard were the Shulammite’s brothers (Song 8:11), then it may have been located in Lebanon (Song 4:8). Some identify it with Belamon, near Dothaim (Judith 8:3). On the other hand, based on its meaning—“possessor of a multitude”—others (e.g., McGinniss) have argued that the vineyard mentioned in Song 8:11 is metaphorical, and “Baal-hamon” is a reference to Solomon’s extensive harem.
