2 Samuel 13:39

39 And King David longed to go to Absalom, for he was consoled concerning Amnon’s death.

39 And the soul of king David longed to go forth unto Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.

39 And King David, now reconciled to Amnon’s death, longed to be reunited with his son Absalom.

39 And King David longed to go to Absalom. For he had been comforted concerning Amnon, because he was dead.

39 When King David got over Amnon’s death, he missed Absalom greatly.

39 After some time the king got over his sorrow because of Amnon’s death. Then he longed to go to Absalom.

39 The heart of King David longed to go out to Absalom; for he was comforted concerning Amnon, since he was dead.
